Congreve Rockets Product Announcement We are please to announce that at the October EARS meet, Congreve had the first public launch of their soon to be released 54mm motor system. The motor a “J” 3 grain (total 1280Ns) is classified as a J410 Standard propellant giving a thrust of 92.8lbs and a 3.1 second burn. The motor was flown in a 4 inch PLM AMRAAM kit using electronic dual deployment and achieved a height of 3862 ft. Congreve would also like to say a big thank you to Rod Stevenson for the loan of his rocket.
